Refractory is made up of inorganic, nonmetallic, permeable, and diverse substances. They are made up of eutectic aggregate particles, a binder phase, and additives. The most common natural resources used for the manufacturing of refractories are silicon, aluminium, magnesium, calcium, and zirconium oxides. Non-oxide refractories include carbides, nitrides, borides, silicates, and graphite. Refractory is implemented based on the circumstances they will be exposed to throughout their usage.
